St. Mark Coptic Academy is now accepting applications for its credit-bearing CTS program — a research-oriented track that prepares students for independent research, analytical reading of primary sources, and further study toward a Master's in Theological Studies.

Program overview
- Theological and ecclesial courses across all disciplines: Biblical studies, doctrine, church history, patristics, liturgics, and research methodology.
- Taught on Fridays and Saturdays at the Academy, Papal residence, St. Bishoy Monastery.
- The schedule includes an overnight stay on Saturday.
- Mostly taught in Arabic, with some lectures in English (B2 level).
- Two years of study (60 credit hours).
Admission requirements
- A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with a grade of at least Very Good (≈ 3.0/4.0 or 75%).
- A 'Good' grade (≈ 70%) may be considered for conditional admission for applicants who excel in the research assessment.
- Current undergraduates who have passed their first two years with Very Good may apply.
- Sufficient theological background, or readiness to sit a church-knowledge placement exam.
- Evidence of English proficiency adequate for study and research.
- Two recommendation letters: from a confession father / church official, and from a university or seminary professor.
- Passing a personal interview with the admissions committee and a theological-background & research-skills exam.
- Enough available time for a 60-credit-hour, two-year program.
